A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE
2027 CITY PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT NO. 27-01
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted April 27, 2026, a feasibility report is
currently being prepared by SEH, Inc. with reference to the above-referenced project, and this report
will be received by the Council on September 28, 2026, and
WHEREAS, the feasibility report will provide information regarding whether the proposed
project is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended;
and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Chanhassen City Council:
1. The Council will receive and accept the feasibility study on September 28, 2026, and consider
the improvements of such project in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting
properties for a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter
429.
2. A public hearing for the proposed improvements within the 2027 City Pavement Rehabilitation
Project No. 27-01 shall be held on September 28, 2026, in the Council Chambers of City Hall
at 7:00 PM.
