A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS AND AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
MARKET BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 25-02
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Project No. 25-02 (Market Boulevard
Improvement Project), bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and the following
bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Valley Paving $6,123,647.11
WHEREAS, Valley Paving is the lowest responsible bidder with a bid amount to be awarded of
$6,123,647.11.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Chanhassen City Council:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Valley
Paving in the name of the City of Chanhassen for the Market Boulevard Improvement Project
No. 25-02 according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and
on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return the deposit made with their bid once
a contract has been signed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Chanhassen City Council this 13th day of April 2026.
