A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF REPLACEMENT SECURITY
CAMERA VIDEO RECORDING SERVER FOR UTILITIES
WHEREAS, the City maintains two network video recording servers that store video
recordings for public works and other utility locations; and
WHEREAS, the servers are end of life; and
WHEREAS, Pro-Tec to deliver, install, and configure new NVR to replace the old end-
of-life servers; and
WHEREAS, the city is to provide all networking needs for the new server; and
WHEREAS, Pro-Tec is to decommission the end-of-life servers; and
WHEREAS, Pro-Tec is part of the MN State Contract S-812(5), eliminating the need for
a secondary quote from other vendors.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chanhassen City Council hereby
authorizes the Purchase of a replacement security camera video recording server for Utilities at a
cost of $20,338.62.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Chanhassen City Council this 23th day of February,
2026.
