A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE
MARKET BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, on October 27, 2025, the City Council held a Public Hearing and Ordered the
Improvements for the Market Boulevard Improvement Project (‘Project’); and
WHEREAS, the city’s design consultant (Kimley Horn), in coordination with the City
Engineer, has prepared plans and specifications for the Project. The project area includes the
following streets: Market Boulevard from TH 5 to Chan View, and Chan View from Market
Boulevard to Laredo Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Chanhassen City Council:
1. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official city newspaper and on
the city’s online bidding platform (QuestCDN), an advertisement for bids upon the making
of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications.
2. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which can be reviewed at the office of the City
Engineer, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Chanhassen City Council this 23rd day of February
2026.
