Gentlemen:
I am requesting a variance to build a garage 10 feet from the
back lot line and 5 feet from the side line. The garage will be
30 feet by 24 feet.
The reason for this request is because of a large oak tree. To follow
the normal setback requirements, the tree would have to be removed
or the garage located in,the center of the back yard.
By removing an old storage shed presently on the location where
I hope to build the new garage, it is my opinion, thet'the new
building would be an improvement to the property and neighborhood.
I have discussed this with my neighbor, Per. Winters, whose property,
abuts the side where the garage will be located and he has no
objections to the location of the building.
