NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
SUBDIVISION OF LAND FOR GORDON JULIUS,
CHANHASSEN,MINNESOTA.
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission
of the City of Chanhasasen, Minnesota, will meet on
Wednesday, the 26th day of July,1978 at 7:45 p.m., at the
City Hall, 7610 Laredo Drive, Chanhassen, Minnesota to
consider the subdivision of three residential lots on the
following described tract of land:
Tract I.
All that part of Govt. Lot 3 Sec. 1-116-23 as follows:
Com. at the NE. corner said Lot 3; th. W. along the
N. Line of said Lot 3, 682 ft.; th. S. par. to the E. line
of said Lot 3,558.5 ft; th. W 100 ft to jhe pt. of beg. of
land to be described; th. S.23 degrees W. 390 ft. th. at
right angles West North 67 degrees W. 260.3 ft. th.
par. to the first described boundary line N. 23
degrees E. 279.51 feet to a pt. directly West and
278.78 ft. from the pt. of beg.; th. E. to pt. of beg.
cont. 2 acres; also a right of way 10 feet wide ex-
tending from the Sely. 10 ft. of sato tract and run-
ning S. to the public highway.
Tract II.
All that part of Government Lot Three (3), Section
One (1) Township One Hundred Sixteen (116) North
Range Twenty-three 123) described as follows:
Commencing the Northeast corner of Government
Lot Three (3) Section One ill. Township One
Hundred Sixteen (116) North Range Twenty-three
(23); thence West along the north line of said
Government Lot Three (3), Six Hundred Eighty-two
(682) feet; the South parallel to the East line of said
Lot Three (3) Five Hundred Fifty-eight and 5/10
(558.5) feet to the point of beginning of the land to be
described; thence West One hundred (100) feet;
thence South twenty-three (23) degrees West Six
hundred Forty-five and 6/10 (645.6) feet to the
center line of the public highway running south-
westerly and northeasterly through said Lot Three
(3); then along said center line in a northeasterly
direction Five Hundred Thirty-five (535) feet to a
point Six hundred Eighty-two (682) feet West of the
east line said Lot Three (3); thence north parallel to
the east line of said Lot Three two hundred Seventy-
one (271) feet more or less to the point of beginning;
containing two (2) acres more or less. Subject to a
right of way five (5) feet wide from the public high-
way northerly to the land of Robert Boughton to the
west of the land conveyed.
A plan showing said proposed rezoning and sub-
division is available for inspection at the City Hall.
All persons interested may appear and be heard at
said time and place.

William McGarr , being duly sworn, on oath says he is and during
all the time herein stated has been the publisher and printer of the newspaper known as Carver County Herald and has full
knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows: (1) Said newspaper is printed in the English language in newspaper format
and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at least 900 square inches. (2) Said newspaper is a weekly
and is distributed at least once a week. (3) Said news paper has 50% of its news columns devoted to news of local interest
to the community which it purports to serve and does not wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made up
entirely of patents, plate matter and advertisements. (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which,
it purports to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75'% of its
total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second-class matter in its local
post -office. (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of Chaska in the County of Carver and it has its known
office of issue in the City of Chaska in said county, established and open during its regular business hours for the
gathering of news, sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions and maintained by the managing officer of said
newspaper, persons in its employ and subject to his direction and control during all such regular business hours and at
which said newspaper is printed. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical
Society. (7) Said newspaper has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least one year preceding the day or dates
of publication mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1,
1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the
managing officer of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper.
He further states on oath that the printed Public Hearing
hereto attached as a part
hereof was cut from the columns of said newspaper, and was printed and published therein in the English language,
once each week, for One successive weeks; that it was first so published on Vied. the 12th
day of JU11 1970 and was thereafter printed and published on every to and
including the day of 19 and that the following is a printed copy of the lower case alphabet
from A to Z, both inclusive, and is hereby acknowledged as being the size and kind of type used in the composition and
publication of said notice, to wit:
