Ashworth City Manager City of Chanhassen 7610 Laredo Drive Chanhassen, Minnesota 55317 Dear Mr. Ashworth: Re: Property on Southeast Corner of Highway 5 & County Road 17 Animal Fair, Inc., has been engaged in the process of reviewing and looking at sites for the building of a new office and plant. We have extensively reviewed, in the last six months, many of the areas available which might suit our needs in Chanhassen, the Jonathan portion of Chaska, Chaska, Shakopee, Victoria, and Waconia. We have found several sites which we find interesting .for our purposes. We plan to build a building as our corporate office headquarters with some light manufacturing, but mainly to be Animal Fair's main headquarters. We like the Chanhassen area very much. Therefore, we are most interested in purchasing land on the southeast corner of High- way 5 and County Road 17. However, to accomplish this, based on City Ordinances No. 64 and 45, I understand approval from the City, the Planning Commission, and the City Council, if they so desired, would be necessary. Our plan is to buy eight acres to construct a very attractive head- quarters for our growing operation. VIQ AGE OF -CHANNASSBN MiNk P.O.
