Enclosed for safekeeping purposes are the Owner's Duplicate Certificates
of Title Nos. 9309, 6390, and 9303 for the above described tracts of
land which are owned by the City.
Lots 1, 21, and 22, Block 2, Minnewashta Heights (no. 9309) are three
tax -forfeited lots which the City acquired without cost several years
ago.
Tract B, Registered Land Survey No. 38 (No. 6390) is a section of
Yosemite.
Outlot B, Western Hills 2d Addition (No. 9309) was conveyed to the
City by H & K at the time of the platting of Western Hills 2d.
I suggest these certificates be kept in the City safe deposit box
or other place of safekeeping. Please acknowledge receipt of the
certificates by executing the form which appears at the foot of the
copy of this letter and return the same to this office.

Attached for inclusion in the City's land title file is the deed from
Hansen & Klingelhutz Construction, Inc. to the City conveying a
portion of the H & K lands abutting about half of Kerber Pond. This
conveyance was a condition to the acceptance of the plat of Western
Hills 2nd Addition.
The deed has been recorded in the office of the Carver County
Register of Deeds on August 28, 1975, in Book 123 of Deeds at
pages 298-299.
It is my suggestion that the City obtain an abstract of title to this
property, and I suggest that you request the Council for authority
to secure the same at an estimated cost from $50-75 to be taken
from the Park Fund budget.
