Feasibility Study Escrow --- Bob Waibel should additionally be contact-ed in regards the estiraated costs of preparing the feasibility study for public improvements, to be prepared . by Schoel.l and Madson, as well as potential legal costs in carrying out necessary public hearings. The City Council makes no guarantees that the feasibility study will find the project feasible, nor that information may arise during the public hearing which causes the Council to deny proceeding as a public improve - ?:sent project _ if the project is not ordered, all costs. Letter of Credit Guaranteeing Assessments - A letter of credit equal to 110% of the total principal and interest amount of assessments to be spread, is required. The form of the letter of credit must be approved by the City Attorney's office. Maturity for the letter of credit may coincide with the maturity date of special assessments, or may be for a shorter period of time if a renewal option is included within the letter of credit. However, if the letter of credit is for a shorter period of time- i . e . one year, and the bank determines not to renew the letter of credit, the City twill -then be forced to draw upon the letter of credit for the then remaining principal balance of outstanding debt.
