BOX 147*CHANHASSEN, MINNESOTA 55317 (612) 474-8885 MEMORANDUM DATE: June 2, 1980 TO: City Manager,Don Ashworth and City Attorney, Russell Larson FROM: Land Use Coordinator, Bob Waibel SUBJ: Property Split at 1670 Lake Lucy Road (Jim Palmer Property) Jean Meuwissen has informed me that in her most recent property print out from Carver County, that parcel 25-03-000-0131-000 has been split since December 31, 1979. This office has no recollection of any subdivision request submitted or approved on the subject property and thus believes that such was done outside the provision of ordinance. In light of the above, I surmise that a letter to the two parties involved in the split should be sent indicating the unofficial status of the split with copies to the County Recorders Office and additionally including a statement advising the applicant as to how official status via platting, may be achieved. Until this matter has been remedied, no building permits should be issued for this property.
