MEMORANDUM
DATE: June 2, 1980
TO: City Manager,Don Ashworth and City Attorney, Russell Larson
FROM: Land Use Coordinator, Bob Waibel
SUBJ: Property Split at 1670 Lake Lucy Road (Jim Palmer Property)
Jean Meuwissen has informed me that in her most recent property
print out from Carver County, that parcel 25-03-000-0131-000 has
been split since December 31, 1979. This office has no recollection
of any subdivision request submitted or approved on the subject
property and thus believes that such was done outside the provision
of ordinance.
In light of the above, I surmise that a letter to the two parties
involved in the split should be sent indicating the unofficial status of the
split with copies to the County Recorders Office and additionally
including a statement advising the applicant as to how official
status via platting, may be achieved. Until this matter has been
remedied, no building permits should be issued for this property.
Please advise as to any other actions that should be taken.
