LAR- SON NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That the Planning Commission of the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota will meet on Wednesday, the 9th day of November, 1977, at 8:15 p.m. at the City Hall, 7610 Laredo Drive, Chanhassen, Minnesota, for the ppurpose of holding a public hearing on a proposed subdivision of land for David A. Larson and involving the following described tract of land: "AD that part of Government Lots 3 and 4, Section 1, Township 116, North Range 23, described as. follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Government Lot 3, Section 1, Township 116, Range 23; thence West along the North line of said Government Lot 3, 682 feet; thence South parallel to the East line of said Lot 3, 558.5 feet; thence West 100 feet; thence South 23 degrees West, 645.6 feet to the center line of the public higghway running Southwesterly and Northeasterly throng said Lot 3; this is the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence North 37 degrees, 7 minutes West, 522.2 feet to an iron monument; thence South 54 degrees 19 minutes west 329.16 feet to the Northeasterly line of Pleasant View, Carver County, Minnesota, according to the plat on file at the office of the Registrar of Deeft thence Southeasterly along said Northeasterly line 720.5 feet to its intersection with the center line of Baldur Avenue so called; thence Southwesterly along said center line of Baldur Avenue 2 feet; thence deflecting to the left from said centerline with an angle of 105 degrees, 6 minutes, a distance of 253.8 feet; dhence deflecting to the right with an angle of 50 degrees a distance of 355.4 feet to a point 732 feet West ,if the East line of Government Lot 3, thence South parallel with said Government Lot line 61 feet, more or less, to the shore of Long Lake (Lotus Lake); thence East along said lake shore 50 feet; thence North parallel with said Government Lot line 1178.6 feet, more or less, to the center line of public highway running Southwesterly and Northeasterly through Government Lot 3thence along said 'center line in a Southwesterly direction 535 feet to the point of beginning containing 5.45 acres, more of less." (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once a week. (3) Said news paper has 50% of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and does not wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and advertisements. (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75'% of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second-class matter in its local post -office. (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of Chaska in the County of Carver and it has its known office of issue m the City of Chaska in said county, established and open during its regular business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions and maintained by the managing officer of said newspaper, persons in its employ and subject to his direction and control during all such regular business hours and at which said newspaper is printed. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least one year preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the managing officer of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper.
