A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE BLUFFS AT LAKE LUCY
WHEREAS, the City has received a letter from Robert S. Molstad, PE., the Engineer of
Record for The Bluffs at Lake Lucy, indicating the public streets, utilities, and storm water
improvements have been completed in conformance with the approved plans and specifications; and
WHEREAS, City staff has performed a walk-through inspection and finds the
improvements acceptable for perpetual maintenance and ownership.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Chanhassen City Council:
1. The public streets, utilities, and storm water improvements in The Bluffs at Lake Lucy, are
accepted for perpetual maintenance and ownership subject to the conditions provided in this
resolution.
2. The acceptance is conditioned upon the developer providing a warranty bond for all
public streets, utilities, and storm water improvements.
a. The warranty period for the streets and utilities ends on May 31st, 2026.
b. The warranty period for the storm water improvements / BMPs ends on
September 4th, 2026.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Chanhassen City Council this 26th day of January,
2026.
