A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE
GREAT PLAINS BLVD/LAKE DR EAST REHABILITATION PROJECT NO. 26-02
WHEREAS, on November 10, 2025, the City Council held a Public Hearing and Ordered
the Improvements for the Great Plains Blvd/Lake Dr East Rehabilitation Project No. 26-02; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Resolution passed by the City Council on June 23, 2025, the
city’s design consultant (I&S Group) in conjunction with the City Engineer has prepared plans and
specifications for the Great Plains Blvd/Lake Dr East Rehabilitation Project and have received
approval from MnDOT of said plans and have presented such plans and specifications to the City
Council for approval. The project area includes the following streets: Great Plains Blvd from TH 5
to Grandview Rd and Lake Dr East from Great Plains to approximate 550 feet west of the
intersection of Dakota Ave and Lake Dr East.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Chanhassen City Council:
1. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official city newspaper and on
the city’s online bidding platform (QuestCDN), an advertisement for bids upon the making
of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications.
2. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which can be reviewed at the office of the City
Engineer, are hereby approved.
