Re: July 11, 2025 Land Use Application for Rezoning and Site Plan Review
Dear Mr. Sailer,
The purpose of this letter is to notify you that pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 15.99, subd. 3(f)
the City of Chanhassen is extending the time period for review of your application for
rezoning and site plan consideration for the proposed development referred to as
“Minnewashta Apartments”. The reason for this extension is to provide the city with
additional time it deems necessary to review the proposed development.
The anticipated length of this extension is up to an additional 60 days from the date of
expiration of the city’s initial 60 days for review provided under Minn. Stat. § 15.99,
which brings the final review deadline for the city to November 8, 2025.
The Planning Commission will consider the land use application on September 16th,
2025. That meeting will include a public hearing. The City Council will consider the
same applications at their meeting on October 13th, 2025.
