Re: January 17th Application for Pioneer Ridge
Dear Mr. Anderson,
The purpose of this letter is to notify you that pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 15.99, subd. 3(f)
the City of Chanhassen is extending the time period for review of your application for
rezoning, preliminary plat, and site plan consideration for the proposed development
referred to as “Pioneer Ridge”. The reason for this extension is to provide the city
additional time it deems necessary to review the proposed development, public comment,
and the city’s ordinances.
The anticipated length of this extension is up to an additional 60 days from the date of
expiration of the city’s initial 60 days for review provided under Minn. Stat. § 15.99,
which brings the review deadline to May 17, 2025, for the city to make a final decision.
The City Council will not be considering final action on this application at its March 10,
2025 meeting as originally scheduled. City staff anticipates that the City Council will
review an updated sketch plan at its March 10, 2025 meeting which will be submitted by
your team. City staff will notify you when the above referenced application has been
rescheduled for formal city council action. That date could be as soon as March 24,, 2025.
