ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MEETING
MINUTES
AUGUST 26, 2024
Mayor Ryan called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Ryan, Councilmember von Oven, Councilmember
McDonald, Councilmember Kimber.
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Councilmember Schubert.
STAFF PRESENT: Laurie Hokkanen, City Manager.
PUBLIC PRESENT: None.
1. Approve Economic Development Authority Meeting Minutes dated July 22, 2024
Councilmember McDonald moved, Councilmember von Oven seconded to approve the
Economic Development Authority Meeting Minutes dated July 22, 2024. All voted in favor
and the motion carried unanimously with a vote of 4 to 0.
2. Grant Termination of Agreement between the EDA and Chanhassen Properties, LLC.
Eric Maass, Community Development Director, reviewed the background of the agreement
between the EDA and Chanhassen Properties, LLC.
Councilmember Kimber moved, Councilmember von Oven seconded that the Chanhassen
Economic Development Authority approves the termination of agreement between the
EDA and Chanhassen Properties, LLC. All voted in favor and the motion carried
unanimously with a vote of 4 to 0.
ADJOURNMENT
Councilmember McDonald moved, Councilmember Kimber seconded to adjourn the
meeting. All voted in favor and the motion carried unanimously with a vote of 4 to 0. The
Economic Development Authority meeting was adjourned at 7:02 p.m.
