MINUTES
JULY 8, 2024
Acting Mayor Schubert called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Acting Mayor Schubert, Councilmember von Oven,
Councilmember McDonald, Councilmember Kimber
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Mayor Ryan
STAFF PRESENT: Laurie Hokkanen, City Manager
PUBLIC PRESENT: None.
1. Approve Economic Development Authority Meeting Minutes dated June 24, 2024
Councilmember McDonald moved, Councilmember Kimber seconded to approve the
Economic Development Authority Meeting Minutes dated June 24, 2024. All voted in favor
and the motion carried unanimously with a vote of 4 to 0.
2. Release of Contract for Private Development and Assessment Agreements – Market
Square
Laurie Hokkanen, City Manager, explained the release of contract for the private development
and assessment agreements for Market Square.
Councilmember Kimber moved, Councilmember von Oven seconded that the Chanhassen
Economic Development Authority approves the Release of Contract for Private
Development and Assessment Agreements for Market Square Associates Limited
Partnership. All voted in favor and the motion carried unanimously with a vote of 4 to 0.
ADJOURNMENT
Councilmember Kimber moved, Councilmember von Oven seconded to adjourn the
meeting. All voted in favor and the motion carried unanimously with a vote of 4 to 0. The
Economic Development Authority meeting was adjourned at 7:03 p.m.
