A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE
MARKET BOULEVARD REHABILITATION PROJECT NO. 25-02
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted February 27, 2023, a
feasibility report is being prepared by Kimley-Horn, Inc. with reference to the above-referenced project,
and this report will be received by the City Council on October 27, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the feasibility report will provide information regarding whether the proposed
project is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended;
and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for benefitting
parcels; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 27th day of
October, 2025, in the council chambers of the city hall at 7 p.m. and the City Clerk shall give mailed
and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Chanhassen City Council that the City
Council will receive and consider accepting the feasibility study on October 27, 2025, and consider the
improvements of such project in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefitting properties
for a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
