Samantha DiMaggio called the meeting to order at 5:33 p.m.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Eric Anderson, David Benedict, Nick Gardino, John Kroll

APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
APPROVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AGENDA DATED JULY 8, 2025
Commissioner Kroll moved, and Commissioner Benedict seconded to approve the Agenda of the
Economic Development Commission meeting dated July 8, 2025, as presented. All voted in favor, and
the motion was carried unanimously with a vote of 4 to 0.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
APPROVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MINUTES DATED JUNE 10, 2025
Commissioner Benedict moved, and Commissioner Kroll seconded to approve the Minutes of the
Economic Development Commission meeting dated June 10, 2025, as presented. All voted in favor, and
the motion was carried unanimously with a vote of 4 to 0.

Marketing and Sales – Chanhassen Dinner Theatres

SUMMARY
Lisa Wadsen, Senior Real Estate Manager - Kwik Trip, will give a presentation on what Kwik Trip and
other retail businesses look for when making site selection decisions.
BACKGROUND
Lisa Wadsen, Senior Real Estate Manager - Kwik Trip.
Wadsen is an experienced operations and real estate professional with deep roots in Minnesota. She
grew up in Coon Rapids, attended college in River Falls, WI, and lived in Chanhassen for more than 10
years before moving to East Bloomington. She spent 15 years with Life Time Fitness before moving
into real estate and construction as VP of Operations for Xperience Fitness. She currently serves as
Board Chair for Cornerstone Advocacy Group, a Bloomington nonprofit supporting victims and
survivors of domestic violence, and is active in her church and community.
She enjoys time with her five grandchildren, exploring Minnesota on her motorcycle or in her
convertible, trying new restaurants, and gardening. Wadsen joined Kwik Trip in April 2023 and is
helping to grow this family-owned business, which will celebrate 60 years in 2025.
