GRANT OF PERPETUAL EASEMENT
FOR ROADWAY PURPOSES
David R. Headla and Barbara Headia, husband and wife, as "Grantors", in
consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and
sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant unto the CITY OF
CHANHASSEN, a municipal corporation organized under the laws of the State of Minnesota,
the Grantee, hereinafter referred to as the "City", its successors and assigns, forever, a perpetual
easement for roadway purposes over, across, on, under, and through land situated within the
County of Carver, State of Minnesota, as described on the attached Exhibit "A".
INCLUDING the rights of the City, its contractors, agents, servants, and assigns, to enter
upon the easement premises at all reasonable times to construct, reconstruct, inspect, repair, and
maintain said roadway over, across, on, under, and through the easement premises, together with
the ri ;ht to grade, level, fill, drain, pave, and excavate the easement premises, and the further
right to remove trees, bushes, undergrowth, and other obstructions interfering with the location,
construction, and maintenance of said roadway.
The above named Grantors; their successors and assigns, do covenant with the City, its
successors and assigns, they are well seized in fee title of the above described easement
premises; that they have the sole right to grant and convey the easement to the City; that there are
no unrecorded interests in the easement premises; and that they will indemnify and hold the City
harmless from any breach of the foregoing covenants.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the Grantors hereto have signed agreement this

Easement Description
A perpetual easement over, under, and across that part of Government Lot 6, Section 5,
Township 116, Range 23, Carver County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of said Government Lot 6,• thence on on assumed
bearing of North 00 degrees 50 minutes 55 seconds East, along the west line of said Government
Lot 6, a distance of 704.93 feet to the point of beginning; thence continue North 00 degrees 50
minutes 55 seconds East, along said west line, a distance of 30.14 feet; thence South 87 degrees
56 minutes 03 seconds Fast, a distance of 13.71 feet; thence 55.10 feet southeasterly along a
tangential curve concave southerly, having a radius of 230.00 feet and a central angle of I3
