The Planning Commission lreard stafls presentation ofthe extension request aud made the
following Findings ofFact on the request.
L On September 23'd,2025, the Chanhassen City Council approved the requested Conditional
Use Pennit (CUP 24-09) for a contractor's yard at the property legally described as Lot l0 &
I I , Block 5, Chanhassen Lakes Business Park.
2. A requcst for cxtcnsion of thc CUP was madc by thc property owncr duc to thc fbllowing
condition ofthe CUP approval, "Lapse. If within one year ofthe issuance of this permit the
authorized construction has not been substantially conrpleted or the use commenced, this
permit shall lapse, unless an extension is granted in accordance with the Chanhassen Zoning
Ordinance".
3. An extcnsion shall be grantcd for one additional ycar for the Conditional Usc Penrit to rcach
complction ofsubstantial construction. thereforc fulfilling thc conditions ofthe CUP 24-09.
The Planning Commission rccommcnds that the City Council approvc the Conditional Usc
Permit extension.
