Notice_of_extension_60_day June 20, 2025 Deena Laugen Andrew Altstatt Lighthouse Homes, LLC Fusion - AE 168 Pioneer Trail, No. 129 6442 City West Parkway, Suite #300 Chaska, MN 55318 Eden Prairie, MN 55344 Re: Land Use Application for Eden Springs Dear Ms. Laugen and Mr. Altstatt: On May 16, 2025 the City received a land use application from you for the construction of a 34 bed memory care facility at property generally located at 1620 Arboretum Blvd. That application was deemed complete on May 22, 2025. The initial 60-day deadline for action on your land use application based on the May 16, 2025 application date is July 15, 2025. The purpose of this letter is to notify you that, pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 15.99, subd. 3(f) the City of Chanhassen is extending the time period for review of your application. The reason for this extension is additional time needed by the City to review the proposed development as it relates to updated plans that you plan to submit with changes to the proposed parking and building footprint. The anticipated length of this extension is an additional 60 days from the date of expiration of the city’s initial 60 days for review, which brings the review deadline to September 13, 2025, for the city to take final action on your application.
