Enclosed please find a coPy of the City Council Agenda for Monday
evening as publlshed and sent to effected citizens. Given the
"Energly Crisis Dec]-aration", I had discussed with several of you
the posstbtlity of moving the agenda to an earlier time. The results
of that survelz reflected potential council conflicts as well as
conflicts with advertising a normal starting time. I have moved
the time up to 7:00 p.m. in hopes we can complete the agenda by
11:00 p.m. (The school has previously requested_us to be completecl
by 11:bO). Again, note that the meeting is set for the Library
R6om, Chanhasien Elementary School, 7600 Laredo Drive - 7:00 p.m.
Looking aheadr I do not have a number of items set for upcomitg-
agendai. We wil-I be forced to meet on February 7, L977, Lo hold
tfre parking lot publLc hearl-ng previously scheduled and for which
notiles have been published and sent. f could attempt to have as
many items on this agenda as possible to allow for canceling the
febiuary 2L, L977, meeting. Another possibility would be to hold
more frequent, shorter, eirlier meetings. This option would
appear to conitict with some council schedules and could subject
tirl CitV to criticism from affected citizens not able to attend.
As noted in the Admlnl.strative Section, f have not received any
further information on the "mandatory" effects of the "Energy
Crisis Declaration".
