"Approval of Agenda"
The ,'Approva1 of Agenda" section of the agenda is provided to allow
the col-ncil to add items to the agenda or modify such. Typically,
this section of the agenda would a1low the council an opportunity
to change the order of business if unusual circumstances warrant
it such] aaaitionally, the council would state those items which
they would like to have brought up under council presentations and,
if lpproved by the council, would be added to the agenda under
,'Cou-nli1 pres-entations." A similar sectionr "Staff Presentations"
is provided to allow the staff to put on the agenda items which
werl not foreseen at the time the agenda was Prepared. In
accordance with the "Council Procedures" such items of business
would not normally require a decision on the part of the council,
but would be "presented" as information for the council or as
a request for a future council agenda.
